Celebrate the 4th of July—Fireworks Safety Matters

Fireworks are a treasured part of Independence Day, and safe celebration starts with responsible use. Please follow all local laws and the instructions on every product to help prevent injuries, fires, and property damage.

✨Fireworks Safety Tips✨

· Follow Local Laws: Only use fireworks that are legal in your area and follow all local regulations.

· Adult Supervision: Always have a responsible adult supervise fireworks use. Never allow children to handle fireworks.

· Read Instructions: Carefully read and follow all instructions on the fireworks packaging.

· Keep Water Nearby: Have a bucket of water, hose, or fire extinguisher ready in case of emergencies.

· Light One at a Time: Light fireworks one at a time and move away quickly after lighting.

· Never Relight Duds: If a firework doesn’t ignite, do not try to relight it. Wait 20 minutes and then soak it in water.

· Safe Distance: Watch fireworks from a safe distance and never hold lit fireworks in your hand.

· Clear Area: Light fireworks outdoors in a clear, open area away from buildings, vehicles, trees, and dry grass.

· Dispose Safely: After fireworks have burned out, soak them in water before disposing of them in a trash can.
