☃️ During Freezing Weather ❄️

• Keep Heat On: Maintain a consistent temperature in your home, even if you’re away, to prevent pipes from freezing.

• Drip Faucets: Let faucets drip slightly to keep water moving and reduce the risk of freezing.

• Open Cabinet Doors: Open kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warm air to circulate around plumbing.

• Use Space Heaters Safely: If using space heaters, ensure they are placed away from flammable materials and never leave them unattended.

• Monitor Weather Conditions: Stay updated on weather forecasts and warnings to be prepared for changes.

🥶 If Pipes Freeze 🧊

• Turn Off Water Supply: Shut off the main water supply to prevent flooding if the pipe bursts.

• Apply Heat: Use a hair dryer, space heater, or warm towels to thaw the frozen section of the pipe. Do not use an open flame.

• Call a Professional: If you cannot locate the frozen section or the pipe is cracked, contact a plumber for assistance.
